EverydayCalc uses source boxes when a page relies on official data, safety guidance, energy rates, humidity guidance, product-sizing conventions, or another factual claim that should be checked.

Preferred sources include government agencies, utility or energy data providers, standards organizations, manufacturer documentation, and other reliable references that are appropriate for the topic.

Some calculator formulas are practical estimates rather than official standards. In those cases, the page should explain the assumption and encourage users to confirm product labels or professional requirements.

Outbound citation links are reviewed periodically as part of the broken-link and content maintenance routine.
