Editorial Policy

EverydayCalc.org is built to answer practical calculation questions clearly, with the calculator first and supporting explanation after it.

Calculator pages are written around a specific user task, such as estimating a dehumidifier size, electricity cost, aquarium heater wattage, or material quantity.

Advertising and affiliate relationships do not determine calculator formulas. Product notes are added only when a calculator result naturally connects to equipment or supplies.

Pages are reviewed for clear titles, useful examples, internal links, visible assumptions, and whether the page still matches the search intent it targets.

Corrections are welcome. If a formula, source, or explanation looks wrong, contact the site with the page URL and the numbers or source you used.

New pages should belong to a clear topic cluster and should not duplicate an existing search intent. When two pages overlap too much, the weaker page should be merged, redirected, or rewritten for a narrower use case.

Calculator content should remain useful before any ads, affiliate links, or optional scripts load.
